Every home is fully furnished and includes full kitchen, all bed linens and
towels for max. occupancy, washer and dryer, view decks, cable or satellite
TV, telephone.
Many homes also have free long distance and Wi-Fi internet, see
below.
No weddings or
wedding-related groups. No large groups. No partying. No
pets. No smoking. No guns, RVs, trailers, motorcycles, outdoor
fires, guest-supplied grills. Look

RENTAL POLICIES
BASE RATES: The
base rate is for the first TWO persons. An additional $25 per person per night is charged
for each additional person, up to the maximum occupancy. Children age three and under are
free. Rates do not include 5.7% sales tax
and 3% booking fee, and $50 non-refundable Limited Damage Waiver.
CELL PHONES AND LONG DISTANCE: Cell phones do not
work at Windcliff. The telephone in your home is not equipped for long
distance access. Please bring a telephone calling card if you wish to
make long distance calls.
INTERNET ACCESS: Most of our homes have high-speed WiFi internet
access. Please inquire about availability of internet access in specific
homes. The Windcliff office is also equipped with WiFi internet access
available to guests.
VEHICLES: Motorcycles, trailers, moving trucks and/or recreational vehicles are
not permitted at Windcliff. Each home has a rated maximum number of cars
permitted, see individual home listing.
While our mountain roads are maintained and open
year-round; for winter stays (October through April), we
recommend all-wheel drive or four-wheel drive vehicles.
SMOKING/PETS/GRILLS/FIREARMS: All units are nonsmoking,
no exceptions. No smoking is allowed anywhere on Windcliff property. Pets are
not allowed in any home or on the property under any
circumstances. Use of barbecue grills is limited to propane (gas) grills
located in some individual homes. No guest-supplied grills are allowed
under any circumstances. Outdoor fires are strictly prohibited due to extreme fire danger in our
mountain/forest setting . Firearms or weapons of any kind including,
paint ball guns, pellet guns and/or BB guns are strictly prohibited.
DEPOSIT POLICY: Reservations are confirmed
with a deposit equal to 30% of the total rent or one night stay, whichever is greater,
plus a $50 non-refundable Limited Damage Waiver.
Deposits made by MasterCard, VISA, or American Express are required at time of booking. The remaining balance, including
3.7% sales tax, 2% Marketing District tax and 3% booking fee, is due during your stay. Management reserves the right
to charge an additional security deposit at time of booking.
CANCELLATION POLICY AND REFUNDS:
35.84% of the deposit is nonrefundable. The remainder is refundable with a
notice of 30 days or more prior to arrival date. All refunds
are processed and checks mailed during the first half of the month following
the month of your stay.
METHOD OF PAYMENT: We accept
personal checks, travelers checks, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, money
orders and cash. Use of personal checks will require 2 forms of identification
including a valid driver's license.
MINIMUM STAY: During PRIME season,
5-night reservations are most common. However, inquiries about shorter stays
are welcome. During FALL and SPECIAL season, 3-night reservations are most
common. However, inquiries about shorter stays are also welcome. The minimum
stay is two nights during the VALUE season. We will
never do less than a 2-night stay at any time of the year. Certain
times of the year may require a 3 or 5 night stay at the discretion of management.
STANDARD AMENITIES: All homes include
washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, TV with cable or satellite, DVD, telephone, wood burning
or gas fireplace
and fully equipped kitchen. All linens and firewood are
furnished. Starter supplies of the following items are also provided: rolls of paper towels,
dish soap and detergent, toilet paper, Kleenex, and 2 small boxes of Tide. At capacity, sleeping provisions may include dens, living rooms or lofts.
Bathrooms listed include powder rooms and three-quarter baths.
ROLLAWAYS, HIGHCHAIRS AND CRIBS: Homes which provide
rollaway beds and cribs at no charge are listed above. If you require a rollaway,
highchair or crib
and it is not provided in the home, please notify the office in advance. These
items are subject to availability.
