"My first time in Estes Park was in 1957 with my parents, almost 50 years ago. Of course, I was only 8 years old at the time. My folks brought me and my younger brothers up here every year for almost a decade. Once, we stayed six weeks; hopping from lease home to lease home. We all cried when we left (even my Mom). I feel the same way right now. I hope I can do something more permanent some day. But at almost 59 years old, I may have missed my chance. In the meantime, I hope that we can call Windcliff our home away from home. God willing, you can plan on us renting for another 10 days next October; and hopefully for many years after that. We like it that much. Maybe we can even come for a few days in the winter. Please tell the owners how much we enjoyed their home. I'm so glad that they've made the investment and allowed our family to enjoy their mountain home. The road up the mountain got shorter and shorter each time we ascended and descended. Funny how it was tough the first time, but so easy now. Thank you again for allowing us to stay."
