If you’ve ever stayed in a Windcliff vacation home or visited Estes Park, you know that Rocky Mountain National Park (also known as RMNP) is, essentially, right in our backyard. This means that wildlife is abundant here, with opportunities for epic photographs and serene appreciation of nature at every turn.

Most often, you’ll see brown mule deer roaming the countryside, but sightings of the majestic elk and moose are also common — and even the busy (and adorable) beaver. If you’re making the trip out here to enjoy seeing all of these creatures among their natural habitatr, you’ll have an excellent opportunity to learn more about them from one of RMNP’s landscape ecologists.

Hanem Abouelezz (quoted here in the Denver Post, in regards to the thriving growth in the moose population in RMNP a few years ago) will be speaking in the taproom of Estes Park’s Rock Cut Brewing Company on the evening of March 12, 2020. Guests will not only learn about the wildlife and RMNP ecology, but get a “behind the scenes” look at how RMNP monitors and manages these natural resources.
