What is the Whiskey Warm Up in Estes Park all about?
This shindig is all about whiskey (whisky) with over 20 distilleries in attendance. These distilleries are proud to craft the finest Colorado spirits around, and range from all over our great state. You’ll be able to taste the finest from 291 Distillery (check out their variety of whiskies!) in Colorado Springs all the way to Breckenridge Distillery and over a dozen more. Estes Park’s own Elkins Colorado Whisky will be there too and is the sponsor of the event. Elkins is just across the street from Lake Estes. They’re known for their corn whisky as well as their uniquely matured Colorado whisky.
You’ll want to check the weather in Estes Park before you go — it’s going to be chilly, but of course there will be plenty of whiskey to help you warm up. The event takes place in the George Hix Riverside Plaza outdoors, and remember that in addition to the distilleries, you’ll have the opportunity to browse local shops and enjoy live entertainment as well!
